SUMMARY:Lecture by Hagy Belzberg: “Measuring Paradox: The Architecture of Hope and Tragedy”
DESCRIPTION:Hagy Belzberg is founding principal of Belzberg Architects\, located in Los Angeles\, California. The firm’s completed projects include the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust and the Kaplan Family Pavilion at City of Hope\, located within an oncological research hospital\, both of which have garnered awards from the American Institute of Architects. In addition\, the firm has completed numerous commercial interiors project\, residences\, and institutional buildings. Mr. Belzberg received his Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and was named an Emerging Voice by the Architectural League of New York. He has also been elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects and has taught studio coursework at UCLA\, USC\, and SciArc.
