To commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War I, come get a sneak peek of the items that will be part of the upcoming exhibit “Ephemera from the War to End All Wars” that will open at the Enterprise Center of Louisiana Tech University in late September. Dr. Saul Zalesch, curator of the exhibit, will discuss the exhibit which consists of 100 original, contemporaneous documents and ephemera, meaning items originally intended to be of only temporary importance. The exhibition is divided into four sections: before the United States entered the War; while fighting; the return of our soldiers; and the aftermath (from the Lincoln Parish Library).
This event is free and open to the public.
