Well Done Frank Hamrick

Associate Professor and Photography Area Coordinator Frank Hamrick has been awarded a Louisiana Division of the Arts career advancement grant. Hamrick will use the funding to attend the 50th annual Society for Photographic Education’s national conference in Chicago this coming March. There he will attend numerous lectures concerning the evolving field of photography, visit exhibitions coinciding with the conference, have his artwork reviewed, while also representing the Louisiana Tech University School of Art to recruit new students.

Hamrick has remained busy lately. His work is currently in group shows at Mississippi State University and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Hamrick has also just completed his newest limited edition book, “A Rabbit Runs In A Circle”, which along with other pieces by Hamrick will be included in upcoming exhibits at LeQuire Gallery in Nashville, the Ogden Museum in New Orleans and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where he will give a lecture on Friday, November 30th as part of the 7th annual Photo NOLA Festival.
