The Bossier Arts Council is thrilled to announce an expansion of their gallery space to include the Gallery Fine Art Center located at 2151 Airline Dr., Bossier City, in Airline Plaza. The Opening exhibition “Southern Ghosts and Living Souls” features four artists including: Nicholas Bustamante, Mark Charleville, Jeormie Journell, and Ryan Mccutcheon.
An opening reception will be March 26th from 5:30 – 7:30pm. “Southern Ghosts and Living Souls” is a show inspired by the past that resides in everyone and sometimes brings itself forward in the forms of memories. One of the participating artists, Nicholas Bustamante, said about the theme “The past is our constant companion, forever influencing our present and future. Stories of haunted houses and ghosts are nothing more than poetic expressions of how we are all haunted by our memories.”
The Gallery Fine Art Center is a project of the Bossier Arts Council committed to promoting art work of local and regional artists. The hours of operation are Thursday and Friday 1-6pm and Saturday 11am-2pm and by appointment.
