Congratulations Maggio

We want to congratulate Todd Maggio, Associate Professor of Communication Design for having been selected as this year’s recipient of the Dean of Liberal Arts Teaching Award in recognition of his innovative teaching methods and course content.

Maggio has established strong interdepartmental relationships with other programs on our campus and is, without compensation, on of three faculty teaching an innovative product design course, ENTR 430. This class recruits majors from engineering, business, and art programs to create material using the latest rapid prototyping equipment. Maggio was instrumental in landing a $100,000 grant for establishing a lab to support projects such as ENTR 430. These new partnerships provide unique learning opportunities while expanding the university’s offerings and attracting more quality students.
