2014 Annual Student Show

Louisiana Tech School of Art is pleased to announce the opening of the Annual Student Show. Over 400 artworks were submitted to Juror Will Bryant who has selected approximately 43 pieces to be shown in the Bethea and Moffett Galleries from March 18- April 8th. Mr. Bryant will give a talk on March 18th at 5pm in the F. Jay Taylor Visual Arts building lecture hall directly across from the galleries. A reception and awards ceremony will follow at 6pm. All are welcome and invited to attend.

Will Bryant’s work weaves together humor with commerce, fun, and positivity. In his sculptural installations, photographic still lives, and commercial illustration projects there is always a sense of exuberance at play with a colorful palette. Will’s work has been plastered across record sleeves, posters, magazines, furniture, snowboards, underwear, and has been exhibited internationally. He is interested in Pee Wee’s Playhouse, Michael Jordan, anthropomorphism, 90s basketball, SEC football, pets, pop culture, cookie meetings, and even parts of art history. Will works full time in his studio in Portland, OR and teaches part time in the graphic design department at Portland State University.
