Annual Student Exhibition with guest juror Jude Landry
Please join the Louisiana Tech University School of Design for the Opening Reception of the 2017 Annual Student Exhibition. This year’s juror for the exhibition is Graphic Designer, Jude Landry. In a blind jurying process Landry reviewed over 500 works submitted. 53 works including Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, and Sculpture were selected to represent exceptional artworks by current Tech students. On Tuesday March 21, Landry will present a Juror’s Talk and Q and A with audience members at 5pm, VAC 103. A reception and the presentation of juror awards will follow at 6pm in the galleries.
Juror Bio: Jude Landry is a graphic designer specializing in illustration and lettering. Born in the swamps of Louisiana and educated at Louisiana Tech University (BFA/MFA), he currently lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where he teaches graphic design at the University of North Texas. Jude also enjoys creating silkscreened art prints and t-shirts which he sells online and at art festivals. For more info visit: www.judelandry.com
