Architect Natalye Appel, FAIA, to lecture

The School of Design is happy to welcome architect Natalye Appel to the Louisiana Tech Campus for a lecture on Monday, 9 October at 5:30pm in the FJ Taylor Visual Arts Center, Room 103.
Natalye Appel + Associates Architects is a small firm from Houston, with projects ranging from civic, institutional, commercial and art-related facilities to a large body of residential architecture.
With its primarily Texas-based work, the firm has received numerous awards, including the Houston AIA Firm of the Year in 2012. Natalye L. Appel, FAIA, LEED AP, Principal, graduated from Rice University and the University of Pennsylvania. Demonstrating a commitment to the environment and the community, she is a US Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional, and serves on the board of the Hermann Park Conservancy. In 2000, in recognition of her accomplishments in the profession, Ms. Appel was elevated to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
