In partnership with the Louisiana Tech School of Design, NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architecture Students) is offering an intensive one-‐day interdisciplinary design experience that offers high school juniors and seniors a preview of the fields of architecture, design technology, art and design, graphic design, and interior design. The program provides an excellent means of acquiring both the basic information and practical experience needed in making an informed choice of major and in planning for a design education. Students will learn how design adds significant value to today’s competitive business world and how design can increase our quality of life. We are delighted to invite you to our first annual “Discovering Design” workshop of 2015. The event will take place on May 2nd. We present this letter in hopes that it will inspire your students to take advantage of this opportunity to join current S.O.D. students for a day of Design!
There aren’t any requirements or payments needed to participate; we only ask that you provide us with a list of names & emails with those who are interested before Friday, April 24st. For more information, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.
