The School of Design is happy to welcome landscape architect Tatiana V. Choulika to the Louisiana Tech University campus.

There is a special commitment to the design of a vibrant and dynamic public realm, informed by the interactive ecology between people and nature. Major projects include the High Line, New York City; Santa Monica’s Tongva Park and Ken Gensler Square; The Race Street Pier, Philadelphia; Freshkills Park, Staten Island; MGM Mirage City Center, Las Vegas; Shelby Farms Park, Memphis; Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London; Chicago’s Navy Pier; Qianhai Water City, China; Seattle’s Central Waterfront; and the Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront in Hong Kong.

With over 25 years’ of professional international experience with planning and design, Tatiana oversees some of the firm’s most complex urban projects.  She is currently managing the planning and design of Seattle’s Central Waterfront project; the design and implementation of Freshkills Park in Staten Island; and the design of the public realm for Columbia University’s new Manhattanville Campus. Tatiana is a professionally registered landscape architect and holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master in Sciences and Management of Natural Resources from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Science in landscape Architecture from Edinburgh College of Art, Heriot-Watt University.
