Triplett at Ceramics Residency in Czech Republic
Kyle Triplett, Assistant Professor of Studio Art and the Clarece Harp Lyles Endowed Professor in Ceramic Arts, is midway through a month long ceramics symposium and residency in Bechyne, Czech Republic. The symposium includes eight artists from the US, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany and Austria, working at the Laufen Ceramics Factory and in studios at the Střední Umělecko Průmyslová Skola (School of Applied Arts). Artwork produced during the symposium will be exhibited at the Střední Umělecko Průmyslová Skola in Bechyne and this fall at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
