The Louisiana Tech University School of Design is pleased to announce the opening reception and thesis talk for our Spring Quarter 2023 graduating MFA candidate. The exhibition and thesis presentation is presented in partial fulfillment of requirements for completion of the Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Photography

The 2023 Thesis Exhibition of “please (don’t) forget” will feature work by Masters of Fine Art candidate Jacob Moffett. The photographs included in this exhibition explore the concept of memory and its expression through memorial. Using both unstable and stable photographic printing processes to question associations between photography and memory.

The exhibit opens on Tuesday, March 28th at 5:30pm. Moffett will provide his thesis presentation at 5pm in VAC 103. The candidate will discuss his creative practice, his influences, and his contemporary context with an audience-driven question and answer session, followed by the unveiling of the unstable images, and the opening reception.
