Numerous Accolades for Slaughter

Associate Professor of Studio Art and Graduate Coordinator Joey Slaughter was recently featured in the publication Fresh Paint, an international, independent bi-monthly magazine. He was selected by artist Andrew Salgado for inclusion in its International Issue, Volume 12. Professor Slaughter was also selected from almost 1,000 applicants for inclusion in New American Paintings, No. 124 (the Southern Issue) to hit newsstands in Summer 2016.

He was recently commissioned by Warner Brothers Television to produce three works for the upcoming television series Queen Sugar.

Later this Spring, he be part of the group show Abstract Expressions at the Patrajdas Gallery in Salt Lake City from May 18-June 11 2016.
