Congratulations to Associate Professor Frank Hamrick for his 2013 Artist of the Year award, presented at the January  North Central Louisiana Arts Council meeting. Communication Design graduate student Jake Dugard and School of Architecture alum Cassidy Keim were also awarded the NCLAC Arts Business of the Year award  for their Makers Union store in Downtown Ruston. Well done!

Assistant Professor Nicole Duet has been elected as a new board member of the North Central Louisiana Art Council. She joins a board with includes Associate Professor Jerry Berg and Associate Professor Saul Zalesch. The President of NCLAC’s Board of Directors is Professor Emeritus Peter Jones. We appreciate your service to this fine organization!

The Louisiana Tech University was very well represented last night at the Downtown Monroe Gallery Crawl. Alumni Joni Dollar and Whitney Newson both had solo shows while many of our current students exhibited their talents in a group show. Very well done all !
